Activation & Onboarding of Hybrid Observability in HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions
Your HPE GreenLake Flex Solution gives you full access to the tools and intelligence inherent within HPE GreenLake cloud – bringing the cloud experience to all your IT so you can deploy and manage resources across your private and public clouds while retaining control of your data and flexibility over how you consume and manage your services.
One outstanding feature that comes standard with HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions is hybrid observability – for monitoring the compute, storage, and networking resources within your Flex solution.
Hybrid observability is an AI-powered SaaS solution – powered by HPE OpsRamp Software – that provides your IT operations teams full visibility and control to optimize uptime and infrastructure operating costs while improving process efficiencies.

Choose between HPE-assisted or self-service activation and onboarding:
HPE-Assisted Activation and Onboarding
Your HPE Account Service Manager (ASM) and a Global Support Remote specialist (GSR) are standing by to help guide your activation and onboarding process.
After your hardware has been installed and configured in your environment, engage your HPE Account Service Manager (ASM) to guide you through the following steps:
- Complete the quick setup questionnaire that your ASM will share with you via email.
- Create a workspace within HPE GreenLake cloud. After creating your first workspace, you’ll be taken to your HPE GreenLake cloud page where you’ll see featured services, like hybrid observability powered by HPE OpsRamp.
- Invite additional users from your IT operations team by using the Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool.
- Provision OpsRamp in your HPE GreenLake cloud.
- Specify the region where you’d like your OpsRamp SaaS instance deployed.
- Launch OpsRamp using the subscription key received within your welcome letter or from your ASM.
- A GSR will then be assigned to provide guidance through the onboarding and customization of your hybrid observability command center. This may include assistance with setting up gateways, auto-discovery and dashboarding, customizing monitoring templates and reports, as well as setting up patching, scripting and alert automation.
